Celebrate International Surfing Day
We here at Buy Hawaiian Seat Covers know that most holidays are just made up by the greeting card companies to sell more cards, right? C’mon… Secretary’s Day, Boss’s Day, Administrative Professionals Day – are you kidding???
Well here’s one ‘manufactured’ holiday we can get behind: International Surfing Day. 
This Saturday, June 20th, you have an official excuse to go surfing! So warn your spouse and clear your calendar because it’s time to go surf.
There’s really more behind this holiday: Surfer Magazine created this unofficial ‘holiday’ to not only celebrate and promote the sport of surfing but to bring awareness to the state of the world’s oceans and beaches, (some of which aren’t doing too well).
The goal is to get folks out to the beach for a surf and then hang out and participate in a beach clean up. There are TONS of events scheduled all around the globe and you can go to the official ISD website to find and event near you and join in.
